if you've ever wondered....

If you've ever wondered how my brain works... this is it...

He Ran Through the Hallways and He was Screaming
He ran through the hallways and he was screaming
But all the people in the rooms had only one eye
And they didn't have any music to sing
They poked their heads out and immediately fell asleep
There must have been eighteen people that were growing grapes
And then someone shouted come out wherever you are
And no one came so they all fell to their knees and yelled
Why has no one been cleaning the garbage
And since then on one ever did.

Drinking Never Suited Anyone
Drinking never suited anyone
So the man grabbed his wife and tolded her to tell the pilgrims that Christmas was canceled
They cried and cried and died because they ran out of matzah
Then the new harvest of honey bees came and ate all the left over jam
The duke of Eatington drank
And the world died of boredom
Never did anyone ever again sing the blues or eat cake

Thinking of Running After the Sun
Mother told me to never speak to you when you are thinking about running after the sun and the moon sang my song when you were gone.  So then we left the city and began our own club of only those aloud who knew our minds.  Our hearts used to sing to the grass below our haven and the wooden walls and harmony to our melodies and we sat on ice blocks that warmed our bodies.  After they died someone took our place.  They were grasshoppers and did not believe in reincarnation.  Neither did we.  We only ate with spoons then because all of the spoons were dull and no one was ever hurt.  Nor did we ever hold onto bags because our hand were bigger then and our pockets were always empty.  The loneliness grew stronger and took hold of our shoulders as hawks do and pulled us around the room.  When we landed we were reversed and had to switch clothes.  Drink from the river said the tress.  Hand me that shovel said you and the hole grew bigger and heart swelled deeper.  Under a banana tree lived the old man and his lover had died, she was beautiful like the moon who sang my song when you were gone.  So we left the city and began our own club...

George Lives in a House and the House was Round Like an Orange
George lives in a house and the house was round like an orange
in a box of tangerines that were yellow but green
ripeness was never something that we wanted but he also wanted a new bike
with green spokes and a turtle for a seat
Drink the wine and sing a song to the morning
then eat the mana from the ground that was like the dirt from the sky.
No one knew who was there when the music stopped
and they tried to find Alice,
they got lost in the woods and decided to clothes their eyes.
My mother held her mouth shut and swam through the mud in her close.

I found these on my computer.  I think I wrote them like a year ago or something....
